So, hopefully in the next month or so, I will be releasing a new tee in collaboration with Locos Only displaying photos shot by the homegirl Natalia. The following is a lil’ preview of some of the photos you’ll find on the garment with my homegirls. Peep it fool.
So… It’s been a long week for me and it’s finally coming to an end. Last night, in celebration of Southern California based clothing company CLSC’s Summer 2010 Collection Release, I gigged at Authentix Boutique in Claremont, CA alongside Dom Kennedy, OverDoz, and Zipp Aura.
When the homies over at CLSC hit me up about the gig the answer was easy cause I wanted to support the fam. When they told me we’d be giggin’ in Claremont, CA I really had no idea how it all would pan out. But… Thanks to their hard work, alcohol, pretty girls, and a lot of folks on their grind, the night was a huge success.
I showed up at the boutique probably 10 minutes before the gig and went straight to get me some drinks in me cause I had been sleeping the whole car ride over from LA. Then, linked with my DJ, Spintelect, and got to rappin’.
From start to finish the crowd was involved and provided that energy I love. Folks knew my songs and words and got down wit ya boy. The energy the entire night felt that way and there was NO beef, NO drama; just them GOOD GOOD vibes. By the end of the night, I sold out of all my The Hundreds x Alexander Spit x Open 24 Hours Tees, AND all of my Freaks and Geeks x Alexander Spit Tees. Success beetch!!!!
So… Much love to all the folks in Claremont, CA for fuckin’ wit what I had for y’all. And a big congratulations to the homies at CLSC and the success of their first ever release. Be sure to visit their site and cop that swag. Fucks wit it.
I’m kinda too late in the day for this to have any meaning to it… but today is Nima Fadavi’s birthday. Get familiar with him. He’s the guy behind much of Bay Area Hip Hop’s music, producing for folks from the Legendary Hiero crew, and as of recent for Frisco legend, Andre Nickatina.
Last year, I put out the acapella’s for my single “Beat For the Street”, and Nima brewed up a masterpiece with his remix. He recently compiled it with the music video for the original track for your visual enjoyment. So… enjoy. And check out Nima Fadavi’s work fool! Read More
